Join our evening Dutch course in Rotterdam and start learning Dutch from the very beginning! In a small, supportive group, you will quickly build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Dutch.

The A1 Evening Course is specially designed for adults who want to start learning Dutch from scratch. This program is ideal for expats and internationals who work or have other commitments during the day, and therefore prefer to take lessons in the evening. You can follow the course in-person in Rotterdam, online, or in a hybrid format.
You begin at level A0 (no or very little knowledge of Dutch) and step by step work towards level A1, the official beginner level.
Classes take place two or three evenings per week in small groups, providing you with ample opportunities for personal attention and interaction. Throughout the course, you will practice all language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Homework and self-study are integral to the program, ensuring optimal results. You will also get support with practicing everyday Dutch for practical situations.
After completing this course, you will be well prepared to continue with the A2 Dutch level, building further on your knowledge and confidence.

Duration & Structure
The course consists of a total of 50 hours, spread over several weeks. You will have 2 lessons per week (3 hours).
Classes take place in small groups (8–15 participants) at our location in Zuidplein, Rotterdam. Lessons are offered in a classroom or hybrid format, providing you with numerous opportunities to collaborate, interact, and practice real-life Dutch.

Learning Dutch doesn’t have to be expensive – at just €15 per hour, our courses are both high-quality and affordable. The hourly rate for this A1 Dutch course is €15 per hour.
You also have the option to pay in installments. The full course fee should be paid before the end of the program.
